About us

Artifact Analysis, founded in 2022, seeks to publish scholarly treatments of meaningful artifacts that impact and inform culture and communication. Such artifacts may be evaluated from a systematic rhetorical or historical perspective to assess intended and/or contributed meaning in society. Artifacts may also be studied to assess audience response using qualitative of quantitative means of analysis. Articles based on objective interpretation and analysis are valued. For this journal, an artifact that contributes to a larger discussion elsewhere should be abbreviated by summarizing prior analysis pointing the reader to other sources that give the broader context, by hyperlink if available, rather than rehashing context in full.
